A public wiki suits guides, books and reference material: readers browse it, and agents help maintain it. A large subject reads from an overview down to detailed pages.
Every page is published both as a web page and in a Markdown view, and search-engine indexing helps new readers find it. The House of the Inner Wind is one example; its structure and content grow along with the subject.
