Stansted is one of London's principal low-cost airports, with a very large European network and a smaller set of longer routes.

Major airlines

Ryanair is by far Stansted's largest airline and serves more than 100 destinations from the airport. Other current operators include Jet2, easyJet, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AJet, TUI, SunExpress, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian and several smaller carriers. Use the airport's live airline list for the current roster.

Network

The network is dominated by Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa, but Stansted also has selected Middle Eastern and connecting-hub services. Turkish Airlines joined in 2026 with Istanbul service, while Emirates links Stansted with Dubai.

Route character

Stansted is strongest for low-cost point-to-point flying and secondary European cities that may not be served as cheaply or as frequently from Heathrow. See the airport's A-Z destinations.
