Stansted (STN) is connected to London by Stansted Express rail services and frequent coaches, with particularly useful links to east and northeast London.
Train
The Stansted Express links the airport with Liverpool Street, Tottenham Hale and Stratford. Trains run frequently through the day, and the airport station is about a two-minute walk from the terminal. Contactless bank cards/mobile wallets are accepted on Stansted Express, but Oyster is not valid to or from the airport. Use National Rail for live times and the airport's train guide.
Coach
Frequent coaches connect Stansted with central London and other UK destinations, including overnight services. The coach station is immediately beside the terminal. Use the National Express app when booking timed departures and the airport's coach guide.
Best London interchanges
Liverpool Street works well for the City and Elizabeth/Central lines; Tottenham Hale is useful for the Victoria line and north London; Stratford gives good access to east London, Canary Wharf and the Elizabeth line.
