MCP is the protocol AI agents use to call tools on external systems. Wikilayer exposes its tree as MCP tools at https://wikilayer.org/mcp (or /mcp on your own host). Add that URL in your client's connector settings; the two clients most users start with are below.
Claude
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the Wikilayer MCP URL (e.g. https://wikilayer.org/mcp for the cloud). Claude walks through OAuth and the new tools become available in any conversation.
ChatGPT
Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Add connector. Paste the same MCP URL. ChatGPT triggers OAuth and exposes the tools through the connectors panel.
