# GitHub Copilot Chat Connect GitHub Copilot Chat in VS Code on the computer running Wikilayer. Open the Command Palette with `Cmd+Shift+P` on macOS or `Ctrl+Shift+P` on Windows and Linux, run **MCP: Add Server**, and choose **HTTP**. Enter: ```text http://localhost:38731/mcp ``` Name the server `wikilayer` and save it to **Copilot Global** so it is available in all workspaces. In Copilot Chat, use Agent mode and enable its tools. The local single-user server does not need browser authorization.
