# Export The wiki owner and admins use **Manage → Export** to download an EPUB for reading or a Markdown archive (ZIP) for backup or conversion. An export of a private wiki contains its private content, so share it only with people allowed to read the wiki. ## E-book (EPUB) One language's pages in the order of the menu, with its home page first when that has content, and the wiki's own pictures inside. Links appear as plain text without their addresses, and pictures from other sites as their descriptions, so the book reads offline. You set the title, author and date, and choose the language or the wiki picture as the cover when there is a choice. The menu of an ordinary page offers a book of that page and its subpages. ## Markdown archive (ZIP) Every page as Markdown, the files used by the wiki, and `manifest.json`, which preserves the wiki’s languages, page order and hierarchy, tags, translation links and other settings.
