# Getting there

Gatwick (LGW) has unusually strong rail connectivity, with direct trains to several central-London stations and destinations across southeast England.

## Train

Gatwick's railway station is at the South Terminal. Gatwick Express runs non-stop to Victoria, while Southern and Thameslink provide a much broader set of direct links including Victoria, London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon and St Pancras. The North Terminal is connected to the station by the free inter-terminal shuttle. Use [National Rail](block:62910) for live times and the airport's [train guide](https://www.gatwickairport.com/transport-options/train.html) for operator details.

## Coach and road

National Express and FlixBus serve Gatwick, with direct coaches to London, Heathrow and many UK cities. Coaches stop at both terminals. Road access is via the M23 with onward links to the M25. See the airport's [coach and bus guide](https://www.gatwickairport.com/transport-options/coach-bus.html).

## Which London station?

Victoria is useful for west/central London; London Bridge for the City and southeast London; Farringdon for Elizabeth-line connections; St Pancras for north London and onward intercity rail. Door-to-door destination matters more than the headline train time.
